our holiday in Tenerife
On Monday 13th November we flew off to Tenerife for our 10 day holiday in the sun. The holiday was booked to celebrate my birthday - I'm not saying which one, but it's one with an '0' on the end!
We had a lovely relaxing time which is what we wanted, we didn't go far from the poolside and the sunbeds. The temprature was mid - high 70's which was perfect.
On my birthday, we did have a day out, we went on a catamaran to see whales and dolphins. Unfortunately the sea was a little rough, which made the journey bumpy, so you had to hold on all the time. Taking photo's under these conditions was very difficult, but I did manage a little video footage, and you will be able to get some idea what the sea was like from this. We did manage to see a group of Pilot Whales which was very exciting. After seeing the whales, Keith was promptly sick!
Below are some photo's that I took, around the hotel and locality. We stayed in Los Giganties, which is a quiet and small resort on the west coast of the island, with not much in the way of shops etc, just enough for you to get what you needed, and a few bars for the evening glass of beer.
We returned home on Friday 23rd November and on Saturday we collected the dogs from the boarding kennels. We was looking forward to seeing them again, and they were equaly pleased to see us. The kennel maid said that they had been fine, but, the 'little brown one, was the naughtiest'!!!
