Whitstable & District. Harry was RBOB today under Bridget Bodel (Kitern).
Today is my birthday, and what a present, Harry was 1st in Open at Crystal Palace CS Open Show, and BOB under Stella Oliver.
Critique: Masculine tri boy, lovely shaped head, interesting markings, very expressive eyes, nicely arched neck into good shoulders, firm topline, good tailset, excellent width across stifle showing good muscle in second thigh, moved happily with good drive.
At Dartford and District CS Open Show, for the second time this year, Harry was BOB under Carol West and BEST IN SHOW under John Carter. We are delighted; I drove home with a smile from ear to ear.
Critique: Carol West – B/W/T dog, good head & eye, kind expression, good length of neck, strong deep well ribbed body, nicely angulated and well muscled quarters, moved soundly. John Carter – Dog in full bloom, must be coming into his own now, strong & well muscled up, nice deep chest, really comes into his own on movement, has free forward movement & plenty of drive from the hindquarters, sound.

CRUFTS We took Grace to Crufts, they were very big classes, 22 in Special Yearling, and Grace was unplaced, she was also unplaced in the Good Citizen Class, in which their were 10 entered. But we are pleased that she qualified, as there are a lot of dogs that don’t.
What a day we have had today, I can’t believe it. Today Harry was BOB under Helen MacDonald having won the Graduate class and then BEST IN SHOW under David Spencer. This has to be the proudest day of my ‘dog’ life. This is our local show, and all of our friends were there to see Harry’s triumph. The cheer that went up around the ring as he was declared BIS, I will remember forever.
Critique: Helen MacDonald – Handsome tri male, perhaps a fraction up to size, but his quality shone out, beautiful masculine head with a lot of work in it, strong neck, well laid shoulders, deep chest, firm topline, strong well angulated rear, first class condition, presentation and handling. David Spencer – BIS was the very sound English Springer, Spaggas Tristar.
Today at Slough CS Open Show, Harry was 1st in Open, under Sheila Turk (Spankis)
Critique: B/W/T male, has all the quality that I like, good outline, lovely head, eye and expression, good reach of neck, well muscled, good bend of stifle, a little on the big side.
