Tonight, Grace won the Dog of the Year Contest at Ringcraft, under Judge Dave Perkins

31st October

Dartford & District CS Limited Show. Harry had a great day today. 1st AVNSC Graduate – judge, CR Winter, 1st AV Gundog – judge Jackie Wilson and at the accompanying Companion Show he was 1st in AV Sporting under John Lyons. Grace was 2nd in AVNSC Junior under CR Winter

Critique: Jackie Wilson, AV Gundog. Really stunning ESS, put down to perfection, his coat really gleamed, in beautiful hard condition, handled expertly, beautiful head & expression, long neck well placed shoulders, good deep body, correct spring to ribs & lovely neck, well angled quarters, good set to tail, held his top line on the move & he moved really well, so unlucky to meet my Am. Cocker  

 in the next class when challenging for BOB. – (well everyone has an excellent critique at least once, and I think this is Harry’s)

10th October

English Springer Spaniel Club of Wales Championship show. Judge Alec Geddes (Debanza), 4th in Post Grad and 1st in Special Beginner Dog – this is Harry’s first 1st at a Champ show.

Critique: Moved well, good condition.

21 August

Harry was RES. BEST IN SHOW at a Companion Dog Show held in Challock and judged by Ada West.

8th August

Harry was BEST IN SHOW today at a Companion Dog Show in aid of Large Munsterlander Rescue, judged by Rae Massey.

22nd July

East of England Championship Show, under judge Les Price, Grace was 1st in Novice.

Critique: Nice bitch of good type, strong head yet feminine, very good coat & condition, moved well.

18th July

Milton Keynes CS.  Grace was 1st in Junior under Mal Mathews.

Critique: Neat, sweat, petite, sums her up, full dentition, dark eye, good tan and feet moved a little close behind but is only just out of puppy, plenty of time to tighten up.

6th June

Southern Counties Championship show under Marie Ward (Warrimede) Today Grace qualified for Crufts, she was 2nd in the puppy bitch class we are delighted. She actually behaved herself today, and it has paid off.

Critique : Clean head & shape, dark eye & pigment, good front, level topline held on the move and moved well.

12th April

Today, Grace had a good day, as she was BEST PUPPY IN SHOW at Challock Companion Dog Show under Julie Cook.

28th March

Gravesend & Medway CS. Under judge David Hutchinson, Harry was 1st in Open and RBOB.

Critique : Tri dog, masculine, throughout, plenty of substance moved well, would do better if he lost a little weight. (Defiantly going on a diet!!)

21st March

Woolwich & Bexley. Under judge Violet Slade ( Potterspride) Harry was 1st AVNSC Graduate and Res. Best AVNSC

Critique: Classic B/W/T ESS dog in lovely coat, good driving movement.

Grace was also placed under Violet Slade in AVMPB she was 3rd, and Violet is a breed specialist.

28th February

Southern English Springer Championship Show under Frank Kane, Harry was 2nd in Yearling and 2nd in Graduate – what a good result again under this judge.

Critique: Excellent head & eye, good bone and ribbing, a little heavy in condition, but holds himself excellently on the move. (now on a diet!!)

22nd February

Kent County Canine Society, Grace was 4th in Rottweiler Puppy under Lynn Scott and 1st in AVMPB under Mark Cocozza.

14th February

National Working & Pastoral, under Val Salt, Grace was 2nd in AV MPB.

1st February

East Kent Canine Society Limited Show – Judge Carol Tranquada.  Harry was 1st in Graduate AVNSC and Best AVNSC – he was also short listed to the last 8 for Best in Show under John Lyons. Grace was 4th in puppy.

18th January

Dover & Deal Canine Society. Today was Grace’s first show, she was in Rottweiler puppy under judge Lesley Wright (Sealandair) and was placed 4th, and in AV MPB she was 4th under Peter Jolly. It was a nice first show.  Harry was 1st in AVNSC Graduate, under judge Kevin Holmes.

Critique: Masculine, well balanced, sound compact & strong, excellent head & expression.
